LEED CERTIFICATION
The U.S. Green Building Council oversees the Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design (LEED) certification program for new nonresidential and residential
buildings. For the energy efficiency portion of the LEED rating, a California
building must exceed Title 24 performance requirements by at least 20%. For
