SAVINGS BY DESIGN, CALIFORNIA ADVANCED HOMES AND
CALIFORNIA MULTI-FAMILY NEW HOMES

Four major California utility companies - Pacific Gas and Electric Company, San Diego Gas and Electric, Southern California Edison Company and the Southern California Gas Company - offer a variety of energy incentive programs throughout the state overseen by the California Public Utilities Commission. There are two programs for new residential buildings, California Advanced Homes and California Multi-Family New Homes:

For commercial buildings, there is the Savings By Design program. Savings By Design has a performance option which requires that buildings exceed Title 24 energy Standards by a specified percentage. To learn more about these and other energy incentives, go to:
