2005 BUILDING ENERGY EFFICIENCY STANDARDS
A major change in the California energy code
occurred on October 1, 2005, the
effective date of the current (2005) Building Energy Efficiency Standards.
Please note that all projects submitted for permit on or after that date
must meet those Standards.
The next California energy code, the 2008
Standards, is expected to take effect sometime in 2009. We will post
the implementation date of the 2008 Standards when it is published by the
state. |
